There are 750 lockers in the lobby for storing your personal belongings while you are in the library. You need a 1-Euro coin to operate the lock. These lockers are for single-day use – any lockers not emptied after closing time will be cleared by library staff.

There are 120 lockers available for long-term use. You may rent one of these for 10, 30  or 60 days (rental fees apply) and store books and learning materials there. Please see Requesting a long-term locker for further information and terms of use.

At the circulation desk you can lend for the duration of your stay in the library, as well as extension, ethernet and USB charging cables. You must present your library card to borrow any of these items. Medical students may borrow a skull (there are five available) or use the two skeletons in the basement for study purposes.

Room K10 has been converted into a Play and Study area  called KESS (Kinder-, Eltern-, Spiel- und Studierzimmer). In addition to a workspace, it contains a learning and playing area for children up to the age of 12. It is open to all members of the University and their children. There is also a baby changing facility. The key to the room is available from the circulation desk.

Lost and found property is kept at the circulation desk for a few days before being handed over to the University's caretaker.

The ear plug dispenser is located near the circulation desk.

Break Room 036 offers various snacks and drinks vending machines.

The Campus Library and all its floors are accessible. The height of the 2 self-checkout terminals can be adjusted via a button. One desk on each of the three floors of the building is height-adjustable. There are accessible toilets on the ground floor and on the 2nd floor.
