Theology and Philosophy Library

The Library is open to members of Rostock University as well as teachers in training throughout November.

Opening hours stay the same for the following libraries: Campus Library Südstadt, Education, History, and Antiquity Library, Linguistics and Literary Studies LibraryTheology and Philosophy Library.

Visiting the Centre for Patents and Standards, the Special Collections and the University Archive continues to require a prior appointment.

Please take note of current guidelines and restrictions – such as the mandatory wearing of masks and scanning of your library card – before your visit.

There are 48 lockers, located near the entrance, for locking away your personal belongings while you are in the library. Lockers are emptied daily.

There are 22 lockers available for long-term use. You may rent one of these for 10, 30  or 60 days (rental fees apply) and store books and learning materials there. Please see Requesting a long-term locker for further information and terms of use.

Lost and found property is kept at the Circulation Desk for a few days before being handed over to the University's caretaker.
