Theology and Philosophy Library
The Theology and Philosophy Library is part of the Campus Library Innenstadt. It is located in the Michaeliskloster and, in addition to the holdings of Philosophy, Religious Studies and Theology, offers a reading room with individual workstations on the 2nd floor.

Course Reserves
A course reserve is a collection of literature that is deemed so important for a class that it needs to be constantly available to all students of that class. The books do not circulate for the duration of the term.
The library's course reserves are located on the ground floor, near the circulation desk.
Study Spaces
Group Study Area
You can study in groups on the first floor of the library.
Reading room
The reading room, consisting of 35 workspaces and 2 PC workspaces, is located on the 2nd floor and the gallery.
Features
Lockers
There are 66 lockers, located near the entrance, for locking away your personal belongings while you are in the library. Lockers are emptied daily.
Long-Term Lockers
There are 17 lockers available for long-term use. You may rent one of these for 10, 30 or 60 days (rental fees apply) and store books and learning materials there. Please see Requesting a long-term locker for further information and terms of use.
Equipment Lending
The circulation desk can lend you USB devices for the duration of your stay in the library.
Lost and Found
Lost and found property is kept at the Circulation Desk for a few days before being handed over to the University's caretaker.
Accessibility
The ground floor of this library is wheelchair accessible; however, the upper floors are not. A member of staff will collect your literature for you. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please speak to staff at the circulation desk for assistance. The library has a self-checkout terminal for borrowing books.
Copy, scan and print
Copiers
The library has a black and white copier and a colour copier. You find the book scanner on the 1st floor. Instructions on how to activate a copy card for students and Rostock University staff
Book scanner
The both book scanner may be used without registration – you only need a USB device for saving your scanned documents. You find the both book scanner on the 1st floor.
