Password
In order to access your user account for services such as requests and renewals, you will need your user number and a password. user account Discovery or user account Catalogue
One-time password
You will be given a one-time password at registration or via email. Please change your initial password as soon as possible. Your new password must be at least 8 characters long. Change your one-time password.
Forgot password
You can change your password at any time by logging in to your user account with your user number and password. Your new password must be at least 8 characters long. Change your password in Discovery or Change your password in the Catalogue
If you have forgotten your password, you can ask for a temporary password, which will be sent to your email account along with instructions on how to proceed. The temporary password expires after 24 hours. Alternatively, you can use the “Reset Password” feature in your user account Discovery.

Password Recommendations
We recommend passwords containing:
- at least 8, but no more than 12 characters
- at least 2 lower-case characters and 2 numbers
- no personal data, including user numbers or part thereof
- no words from the dictionary, including dialect or slang.
Adding a number to a word or a keyboard sequence does not make it safer!
