Our Discovery service processes over a million search queries every year. Discovery is based on the community-driven Lukida system and was updated to the current version, Lukida 5.

The Rostock University Library’s literature search portal now appears in a new, modern design and offers numerous new features.

Both the search function and the user account have been significantly improved. New dynamic search filters, such as filtering results by library location, enable a precise and fast research.

In the new Discovery user account, the library card can now also be displayed digitally. This makes it possible to borrow items at the self-checkout terminals using only a smartphone without presenting your library card.
