Multiplier training

As a part of the key multiplier qualification, the university library of Rostock offers specific sessions that are meant to deal with certain subject fields. They are supposed to impart basic knowledge for the use of university's library which can then be passed further to students. All multipliers and mentors/tutors who function as multipliers in their own subject fields are kindly invited to participate. Generally, there will be several offers of this session at the beginning of winter term 16/17 (exact dates can be found below).

Approximately one-hour-long sessions will include various topics such as Semesterapparate (key texts of the term), access to e-books and databases from home, renewals of the loan period, acquisition proposals, scanner use, etc. All in all, the main focus of it will be basic information and tips on how to successfully use our library services.

If necessary, in addition to a handout participants will receive a sample presentation which they can use afterwards while sharing basic information with the students. It will also include access to a forum which allows to ask the university library of Rostock questions directly.
